I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago. I will join the California Policy Lab at UCLA as a Researcher in Applied Microeconomics and Quantitative Public Policy in September 2023.
I study the provision and effects of social safety net programs with a focus on education and labor supply.
My job market paper examines the importance of financial constraints youth with disabilities face during postsecondary education. I provide evidence that removing work disincentives from Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability benefits improves the educational and working outcomes of SSI recipients below age 22.
